Hello everyone & happy Thursday!
As you know, October has begun, spooky season is upon us, and Halloween will come up faster than we know!
St. Paul’s will be hosting a Trunk or Treat on Halloween Day (Saturday, October 31st) from 4-6 pm. For those of you who have never heard of a Trunk or Treat, how it works is that people will drive their vehicles into the church parking lot, open their trunks, and decorate them. Costumes are encouraged and candy is required, as families will be coming through the parking lot with children to collect candy from each vehicle!
That being said, we are looked for volunteers to sign up to bring their vehicle, dress up and decorate their trunk, and pass out candy to kids. We are asking volunteers to arrive around 3:00 pm so they have time to get their vehicle ready. If this is not a possibility for you, we are also looking for volunteers to work the hot chocolate/apple cider stand. If you already have plans that day or are simply looking to donate to the cause, we would love candy, hot chocolate, or even decoration donations!
There is a sign up board at St. Paul’s where you can write your name to volunteer or donate, and there are even some themes for your trunk you can choose from if you can’t think of one on your own! Otherwise, you can always reach out to me via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or send me a text/give me a call (218-244-2155).
We are super excited for this event & hope to see you all there!
