Although it is cold outside, I hope you all are feeling warm inside, especially with Valentine’s Day coming up on Sunday!
Here at St. Paul’s the youth and sunday school kids will be making valentine’s day cards and decorating cookies after the worship service this Sunday, February 14th, beginning around 10:30 am.
Although there is usually a romantic focus on Valentine’s Day, it is also a good time to remember the perfect love our Savior has for us and the gift of loving others and being loved He has given to us.
As Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 13, “If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing…so now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”
Let’s spread some love!
